We at the Alton Grange Hotel are proud to announce the forth coming dates for our Ladies Luncheons.
Jane Austen Regency Fashion Show - 27th June
Our Luncheons are an ideal opportunity for ladies to get together and discuss the latest fashions and trends with friends and colleagues over good food and fine wine.
Ticket price is £19.95, this includes a two course lunch with coffee, a welcoming drink on arrival, a glass of wine with lunch and the presentation.
Jane Austen Regency Week
27th June
Jane Austen Regency Week takes place in the last week in June each year to celebrate the time Jane Austen spent in Alton and Chawton.
We will be hosting a Regency Fashion Ladies Luncheon on the 27th June.
Arrival will be for 12pm with the Fashion Show at 12:30pm, followed by a two course lunch at 1pm
The Fashion Show will be a presentation of fashions from the Regency Period, showcasing the styles of clothes and fashions that Jane Austen would have worn whilst staying in Alton during the latter part of her life.
After the fashion you will have the chance to browse and purchase some of today’s fashions from Captain Tortue and their Lady Captain range of clothes.
So come and get your bustle on, enjoy a fabulous lunch and then be amazed at what efforts the ladies of the Regency Period had to make to seem fashionable.
